It’s midwinter. Probably raining outside. And the days are short, the nights are long and dark…That’s when you really need a vase of fresh flowers in the house to give a hint of sunshine, springtime and better days ahead. But the there’s nothing inspiring in the garden. Or is there? Look to twigs, grasses and reeds, foliage, even feathers as ways to bring the outdoors inside. Their crisp textures and subtle tones are a good complement to the simple shapes and soft nature-inspired colours of our pottery vases.
